Professional Biography

Irene is an award-winning marketing and communications leader with over 20 years professional experience. She has dedicated her career to serving mission-driven organizations in the non-profit, cultural and education sectors and leads strategies that foster community and inclusivity while producing meaningful work that makes an impact.

As a skilled communicator, Irene is adept at bringing brands to life and creating campaigns, experiences and strategies to engage and inspire audiences. She excels in helping organizations establish and achieve their business, marketing, and cultural objectives.

Job History

Prior to joining the Josef Korbel School of International Studies, Irene was the Director of Marketing at the University of Colorado Denver for six years where she was responsible for overseeing the campus marketing campaigns. Irene was the Director of Marketing and Communications for the Clyfford Still Museum, directing the communications strategies leading up to and following the Museum's opening. Irene has also lead marketing and communications for the Colorado Shakespeare Festival at the University of Colorado Boulder, oversaw the operations of an Off-Broadway theatre for Nederlander Worldwide Entertainment, and worked as a producer at The Kennedy Center.
