Academics & Education

Driven By Inclusive & Intellectual Excellence

Our unique interdisciplinary programs unpack how social, environmental, political and economic intersections shape global affairs. We emphasize real-world experience through study abroad opportunities, internships and simulated debates, equipping you with both the theoretical framework and hands-on experience you'll need to put ideas into motion.

We challenge you to think critically and explore solutions to the most pressing challenges of our time: responding to new and emerging security threats, advancing human rights and social justice, making the global economy fairer and more inclusive, combating climate change, and resisting threats to democracy around the world. We give you the skills you will need to be an effective leader on these and other critical global issues.

Hands-On Experience

Working Toward the Common Good

As one of the leading international studies schools in the country, we are tasked with empowering tomorrow's global leaders. By examining today's critical issues with the support of like-minded peers and world-class faculty, you can examine problems on a global scale and develop strategies to improve lives.

The Josef Korbel School of International Studies is a leading center for advanced training and research in international affairs. Many of our students go on to shape politics, policy, big businesses and humanitarian efforts in non-profits.
