Students attending college in Colorado have the right to register and vote if they reside here. A student does not automatically reside in Colorado just because they are attending school here. It is up to the student to decide where they reside. If you choose to vote in a different state, you are no longer eligible to vote in Colorado. Learn more about voting while in college

How to VOTE in Colorado and at The University of Denver
In Colorado, all eligible registered voters automatically receive a ballot in the mail a few weeks before an election - this makes voting really easy! You can send your ballot in by mail, ballot drop-box, or at in-person voting center. The Denver Elections Division operates 43 ballot drop-off boxes throughout the city during an election period, including on the DU Campus - on the North side of the Ritchie Center. In addition to drop boxes, voters can choose to vote in person or return their ballots at a number of vote centers and drive-throughs. Learn how to vote and where to vote
