Collaboration with Social Science Foundation (SSF)

The Social Science Foundation (SSF) awarded the Pardee Center funding to enhance the fisheries and nutritional components of IFs, significantly enriching the agricultural modeling within IFs. This project has also allowed the Center to collaborate with the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) in Washington, DC and to develop a larger, successful US National Science Foundation (NSF) proposal on fisheries and local and global development with colleagues in the Korbel School and at the Pardee Center at Boston University (http://www.bu.edu/pardee/), Salisbury State University, and in three African countries (Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania).

The project is part of a broader collaboration between the Pardee Center and the Social Science Foundation at the University of Denver to evaluate modeling of fisheries and aquaculture.
