Founded in 1988, the Center for China-U.S. Cooperation (CCUSC) promotes mutual understanding between the people of China and the United States through forums, conferences and other programs.
Recent Events & Appearances
Suisheng Zhao has led and participated in numerous virtual events since COVID-19 shut down the world in March 2020. His subjects included climate change, technology, the current pandemic. Zhao presented at virtual talks for various global organizations such as BNU-HKBU United International College, Vail Symposium, Denver Council on Foreign Relations, Heartland China Association and the Michigan China Forum.

The Journal of Contemporary China (JCC) is once again ranking among the top area studies journals in the newly released 2019 Journal Citation Reports. The Impact Factor (IF) for the JCC has increased to 2,345 and a 5-year IF reached 2,130, both of which once again record high scores for the journal. JCC boosted from the 8th to the 2nd out of 77 journals in the Area Studies category.
