Professional Biography

Kate is an Assistant Teaching Professor at the Korbel School of International Studies. Her research interests include border security, migration and mobility, and transnational security cooperation. She teaches courses at DU on topics surrounding development and human security.

She is also the Director of the Center for Undergraduate Scholarship and Honors, where she directs the University Honors program and oversees programming to support all undergraduate students accessing opportunities for research, scholarship, and creative activities.
