Born in Florence, Italy, July 13, 1973.
Graduated in Political Science from the University of Florence in July 1998.
Masters in International Relations from the Maxwell School of Syracuse University in December 2000.
PhD in Political Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2009.
