Assistant Director of Employer Relations
Office of Career and Professional Development
As the Assistant Director for Employer Relations at the Korbel Office of Career and Professional Development, I oversee the employer engagement and development strategy for our office. This includes building and maintaining relationships with employers of interest to Korbel graduate students for internships and post-graduate careers, and collaborating with a variety of internal partners and external stakeholders. In this role, I also organize the Korbel School's annual DC Career Connections Program and coordinate numerous on-campus and virtual employer engagement opportunities throughout the year. In addition, I serve as a career advisor and provide 1:1 career advising to graduate student and alumni and on a variety of topics, including resume/CV/cover letter reviews, internship/job search strategy, informational interviews & networking guidance, career exploration, interview practice and coaching, and salary/offer negotiation assistance. I also design and deliver workshops and other presentations on job search and other career-relevant topics.
Previously, I was the Program Manager at the Sié Center for International Security and Diplomacy at Korbel from 2020-2023. Prior to returning to DU as a staff member in 2020, I was a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Bulgaria from 2019-2020, and was Senior Program Manager for Professional and Youth Exchange Programs at WorldDenver from 2014-2019.
