Fall Quarter #SiéSimulation

The Sié Center is excited to host another highly-popular #SiéSimulation for graduate students at Korbel! Led by Professors Debak Das and Hilary Matfess, the #SiéSimulation event is an immersive crisis simulation exercise which allows participants to develop critical thinking and strategic analysis skills that are essential for policy makers and practitioners. Each #SiéSimulation is open to 30-40 graduate students, who then use detailed briefings on military and diplomatic tools at their disposal to respond to changing levels of escalation in each unique scenario. Previous simulation scenarios have included NATO and its relationship with Greenland, nuclear crisis in the Indo-Pacific, the War in Ukraine, and more.
