Timing matters. Korbel gives you options.

Start in Summer 2026

Even if you have already been admitted elsewhere for a fall start, Korbel’s Summer 2026 option gives you something many programs cannot: flexibility, momentum, and a path to a rewarding career.

Why is Summer 2026 Different?

Why this supports students

Spread out your course load through an additional quarter giving you space to focus and succeed.

Some students prefer to take a lighter course load during the academic year so they can join the many clubs and organizations Korbel and DU offer, visit the Rocky Mountains, and explore the city of Denver including concerts, sporting events and the arts.

Built for real life, not perfect timing

Not every student graduates into a job. Not every career follows a clean academic cycle.

A summer start allows you to keep momentum, build skills, and enter the fall prepared rather than waiting on circumstances you cannot control. It offers flexibility for students balancing work, family, and evolving career plans.

Korbel offers this option because access and opportunity should not be dictated by the academic calendar.

Start earlier and seamlessly

The Summer 2026 start is a full, formal entry into Korbel graduate programs. This is not a pre-term, bridge, or preparatory experience.

You enroll as a Korbel student, take graduate-level courses taught by Korbel faculty, and earn credits that count fully toward your degree. Your academic progress begins immediately and continues seamlessly into the fall.

This is graduate school, just started earlier.
