  • INTS 1700: Introduction to International Politics

  • INTS 2975: Global Issues Research Practicum
  • One additional INTS skills course (4 credits)

  • 16 total credits of approved INTS courses outside of selected specialization

  • Gender and Power in Global Affairs (GPG)

Study abroad is a required and integral part of the International Studies degree, offering the opportunity to experience another culture firsthand, grow personally, and earn academic credit toward the major. The University of Denver has partnerships with approximately 150 study abroad programs and universities around the world. DU’s Cherrington Global Scholars program allows eligible students to spend a quarter studying abroad at no additional cost beyond that of a term at DU.
