The Korbel Honors is an annual celebration of the Josef Korbel School of Global and Public Affairs and members of our community making a difference in the world. This event brings together faculty, staff, students, alumni, and friends to celebrate all the Korbel School has accomplished, and can accomplish to advance a more just, prosperous, sustainable, democratic, and peaceful world.

The Korbel Outstanding Teaching Award recognizes the extraordinary commitment of Korbel’s faculty to our students. The Teaching Award is presented annually to a faculty member who exemplifies that commitment both inside and outside of the classroom.
The Korbel Staff Excellence Award celebrates a member of our staff who exemplifies remarkable devotion to the school’s mission.
The Korbel Distinguished Alumni Award celebrates the significant contributions that Korbel School graduates make in the wider world, having been shaped by their programs, faculty, and classmates.
