Representative, Colorado's Sixth Congressional District
Congressman Jason Crow represents Colorado’s Sixth Congressional District, encompassing Aurora and parts of Arapahoe, Adams, and Douglas Counties. A former member of the U.S. National Guard, Army Ranger and Bronze Star recipient, Crow's commitment to service is rooted in his upbringing and his personal experiences.
After earning his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2009, Crow joined the active-duty Army, serving in the 82nd Airborne Division and 75th Ranger Regiment, with deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. His leadership philosophy, focused on servant leadership and prioritizing the needs of others, continues to guide his work in Congress.
In addition to his legislative duties, Crow teaches a class and regularly attends events at the Josef Korbel School of International Studies, sharing his expertise and experiences with students. His legal career also includes recognition for pro-bono work assisting veterans in their transition to civilian life, earning him the title of Denver’s Pro-bono Lawyer of the Year.
Crow is a member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and the House Foreign Affairs Committee, where he serves as Ranking Democrat of the Oversight and Accountability Subcommittee. In Congress, he is committed to tackling issues such as climate change, job creation, and gun violence prevention, while working to put the interests of Colorado and the nation ahead of partisanship.
In 2015, Crow was honored with the University of Denver's Ammi Hyde Award for Recent Graduate Achievement, and in 2024, he received the Thompson G. Marsh Award for his continued dedication to public service.
