Assistant Director
Scrivner Institute
Katie Aker is the Assistant Director of the Scrivner Institute of Public Policy, where she oversees the Institute's programming, operations, strategic planning, and faculty research management.
Katie has extensive experience in social impact, community development, and educational initiatives, having designed and managed programs that foster university-community engaged research, advance social enterprise innovations, and promote environmental sustainability. Previously, she served as a Community Economic Development Advisor with the Peace Corps in Peru.
Katie holds a Master of Public Administration and MA in International Education Management from the Middlebury Institute and undergraduate degrees in Business Management and Spanish from Colorado State University.
