US Policy Pop-Up Series - Week 1: The Economy and Trade

During the spring quarter, the Korbel community is invited to join a weekly discussion moderated by faculty that explores the evolving U.S. policy landscape under the Trump Administration. Open to all students, faculty, and staff, this series will provide a welcoming space for questions and discussion about today’s political and policy challenges. The first week will focus on the U.S. economy and trade:

• Is the U.S. headed for a recession?
• Are tariffs protecting U.S. jobs or killing them?
• What happens if the U.S. pulls out of global trade agreements?
