Barry Hughes Joins Expert Meeting, UN Division of Sustainable Development

In January, 2018, Pardee Center Founder, Senior Scientist, and Mentor Barry B. Hughes served as a lead presenter at an Expert Meeting for the United Nations Division for Sustainable Development, Department of Economic and Social Affairs. The New York meeting, “Advancing the 2030 Agenda: Interlinkages and Common Themes at the HLPF 2018,” is in preparation for the UNDP’s High-Level Political Forum in July, 2018, which will address “Transformation toward sustainable and resilient societies.” Participants worked together to reach beyond their areas of expertise to find cross-cutting, integrated solutions for common challenges.
