Barry Hughes Makes Modeling Connections Abroad

In November 2016, Barry Hughes traveled to Berlin and Potsdam to meet with other members of the modeling community and to provide information to others on the International Futures (IFs) model. On November 8, he gave a presentation to the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research. On November 10-11, Hughes participated in a global meeting of the Club of Rome. “There was a large crowd at the Potsdam Institute presentation and I had many good meetings with researchers over three days. They are now much more aware of IFs and the work of the Pardee Center than before,” said Hughes of his visit. He was able to take this trip using funding for his position as John Evans Professor at the Josef Korbel School of Global and Public Affairs at the University of Denver.
