Biennial of the Americas Visit to Pardee Institute, Project X-ITE

The Pardee Institute, along with Project X-ITE, hosted an event on September 15 for delegates from the 2017 Biennial of the Americas Festival. Acting Dean Professor Pardis Mahdavi welcomed our visitors and introduced them to the Josef Korbel School. Pardee Center researchers David K. Bohl, Jonathan D. Moyer, Meredith Moon, and Andrew Scott led presentations on how we use IFs to think about the SDGs, economic vulnerability, and artificial intelligence. The Biennial delegates then visited the Ritchie School of Engineering and Computer Science, where they were welcomed by Dean JB Holston and led on a tour of innovation across campus by Project X-ITE CO-Director Nina Sharma and others.
