Jonathan Moyer travels to South Africa for a data validation mission

Last month, the Pardee Center’s Interim Associate Director Jonathan Moyer traveled to South Africa to lead a two-day workshop with a wide range of South African issue-area experts. He worked with these experts to validate data used to forecast development in the nine provinces of the country using the IFs system. While there, Jonathan presented the International Futures system to two diplomatic missions in South Africa—the European Union Mission and the South Korean Embassy—as well as the Gauteng Province Planning Commission and the South African Treasury.
