Pardee Institute Contributions to UNEP’s GEO-6 Report

Research System Developer Hedden has spent much of 2018 serving as a coordinating lead author for the “Outlooks” section of the UN Environmental Programme’s (UNEP) sixth Global Environmental Outlook report (GEO-6). The goal of the report is to understand the current state and trends of the environment, and to inform the international community on policies to meet environmental objectives.

The publication, scheduled for release at the end of 2018, is also supported by Pardee Institute Director Jonathan D. Moyer and Senior Scientist Barry B. Hughes. Hedden and Moyer attended the third Author’s Meeting for the GEO-6 in Singapore (February 2018); Hedden also joined the fourth Meeting in the Netherlands (May, 2018).
