Pardee Research Projects

Theatrical Costume Design with A Midsummer Nights Dream and The Taming

Our production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream will provide an opportunity to get students interested in theater. Through our exploration of new materials and experimental designs in costuming, we will emphasize the modern themes in a play that is almost 430 years old. The construction of costume pieces will provide the opportunity to build professional skills, work with both University Faculty and Professional Designers from the community, and allow the creation and documentation of unique portfolio items to bolster professional resumes.
