Taylor Hanna Collaborates with USAID to Shape Ethiopian Development Strategy
Taylor Hanna, the Associate Director of Development Analysis, traveled to Addis Ababa in Ethiopia in connection with the Pardee Institute's ongoing collaboration with USAID Ethiopia to work on the next Country Development Cooperation Strategy (CDCS). The CDCS initiative aims to help drive Ethiopia's progress forward.
During this visit, Taylor participated in a series of workshops and presented preliminary scenarios generated from the Institute's signature International Futures (IFs) modeling platform. These sessions included experts and leaders from offices across USAID, with focused discussion on Ethiopia's interests and needs. The main goal of these workshops was to brainstorm and find innovative solutions to Ethiopia's developmental challenges.
Through this engagement, and with deep analysis informed by the IFs tool, the Pardee Institute is helping key stakeholders in this effort identify key priorities in Ethiopia and map future pathways for accelerated development.
