Partners

Partnering to make long-term change easier to examine.
Pardee works with research, policy, development, and philanthropic partners to examine how today’s choices may shape future outcomes. Through open-source tools, integrated modeling, data development, and scenario-based analysis, we help partners compare plausible futures, test assumptions, and bring longer-term evidence into planning.

Use this page to learn what partnership with Pardee can support, what kinds of organizations we work with, and how to start a conversation.
We support those who need to compare scenarios, assess trade-offs, develop evidence for planning, or understand how structural trends may affect future risks and opportunities.

What we bring to partnership work

Pardee partnerships are strongest when a question requires more than a single dataset, sector, or forecast.

Scenario-based analysis

We help partners compare plausible futures under different assumptions, rather than treating one forecast as a fixed outcome.

Integrated tools and datasets

Our work draws on International Futures, Diplometrics, and related datasets to examine relationships across human, social, natural, economic, and geopolitical systems.

Decision-relevant interpretation

We translate model results and data into findings that help partners reason through trade-offs, risks, capacities, and possible pathways.

This approach matters because partners need evidence they can use, explain, and scrutinize.

Featured partnership examples

Pardee partnerships vary by question and audience, but many involve helping organizations examine future pathways, compare assumptions, or translate analysis into planning-relevant evidence.

Knowledge is AUDA-NEPAD’s prime commodity in its work to catalyze and support implementation of Africa’s Agenda 2063. In that regard, the IFs model and the Frederick S. Pardee Institute for International Futures have been extremely and uniquely valuable with respect to forecasting. Forecasts of different outcomes in differing circumstances have added an important dimension to African Union member states to ensure informed policy and investment choices.

For those facing questions about development choices, trade-offs, or plausible pathways or questions about geopolitical relationships, influence, or risk, Pardee can help translate broad goals and concerns into testable assumptions, comparable evidence, and scenario-based analysis.
