The Josef Korbel School of International Studies today announced the formation of Korbel in Geneva, an academic program offered in partnership with the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies.

A maximum of ten Josef Korbel School masters students will be accepted into Korbel in Geneva each year. Upon acceptance, students will spend six months (June – December) in Geneva, Switzerland where they will complete two graduate level courses at the Graduate Institute and an internship with a Geneva-based organization.   Additional information about the program can be found at https://www.du.edu/korbel/programs/masters/korbel-in-geneva/index.html.  Josef Korbel School students are also encouraged to attend an information session on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 on the University of Denver Campus in Ben Cherrington Hall, Sie 150.

The Korbel in Geneva program will be administered by the School's Sié Chéou-Kang Center for International Security and Diplomacy in cooperation with the Graduate Institute of International and Development studies in Geneva. The Graduate Institute is an institution of research and higher education dedicated to the study of world affairs, with a particular emphasis on the cross-cutting fields of international relations and development issues. The Institute has a long-standing reputation of excellence and shares strong ties with the international and non-governmental organizations in Geneva as well as being home to a diverse and vibrant group of students and faculty from all over the world.
