Diplometrics Project Cited in The Economist

The Pardee Center’s Diplometrics project was cited in the Economist’s March 7, 2019 cover story titled The new scramble for Africa: And how Africans could win. Diplometrics seeks to better measure and understand relationships in the international system. The project’s work related to Diplomatic Representation illustrates what the article explains to be “the biggest diplomacy-boom ever,” with countries like China, Turkey, and India allocating incredible resources to strengthen ties with countries throughout Africa.
