Pam Hoberman

Director of Operations

What I do

As co-leader of the Pardee Center alongside Director Jonathan Moyer, Pam runs Pardee's business operations. In this role, Pam directs the distribution of and practices governing Pardee's financial, technological, space, human capital, and other assets. Pam oversees Pardee's sponsored projects administration, budgeting and forecasting, accounts payable and receivable, payroll and special community membership, technology, procurement, events, marketing and communications, and human resources.

Pam brings to Pardee decades-plus professional experience in public service and nonprofits, with nearly a decade of direct experience in this role alone. Prior to joining Pardee, Pam ran the research operations of the Marsico Institute for Early Learning at the University of Denver for over three years. Pam began her journey in academic organized research units when she became a research associate for the New York City Labor Market Information Service (NYCLMIS), a research nonprofit operating out of the City University of New York (CUNY). Soon after joining CUNY, Pam assumed additional responsibilities in business administration and from there, divided her time between research and operations for most of her nearly six years at CUNY. Pam directed the CUNY-based NYCLMIS for about a year before joining the University of Denver.

Pam received her Master of Public Administration degree from NYU Wagner and her undergraduate degree in Government and Politics and a Certificate in Women's Studies from the University of Maryland, College Park. Pam is a spreadsheet fanatic, dog lover, outdoor enthusiast, and a whodunit novel junkie. Email her at pamela.hoberman@du.edu.
