Pardee Attends ENACT Workshop in Cape Town

Pardee Director Jonathan Moyer and Research Affiliate Lily Welborn both attended an Enhancing Africa’s Response to Transnational Organized Crime (ENACT) workshop in Cape Town from July 3-6. The goal of ENACT to is collect and organize data on international crime to better understand how to stop it. Central to this goal are five Regional Organized Crime Observatories, which raise awareness and bring together experts to share information and build a network of support for ENACT team members. The conference Jonathan and Lily attended included sessions on illicit financial flows, environmental crimes, and arms trafficking. All sessions focused on enhancing the ability to respond to international crime in Africa.
