Pardee Center director Jonathan Moyer and research associate Andrew Scott spent four days (April 4 to April 7, 2017) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia conducting an interactive training session on International Futures (IFs) for members of the National Planning Commission, the Ethiopian National Bank, local customs and immigration officials, as well as several private sector representatives. The training focused on how to use the IFs platform for long-term trend and scenario analysis.

This training, organized by the Government of Ethiopia, followed the March 2017 release of a trends report on macro-level human development for the USAID mission in Ethiopia, coauthored by our partners, the Institute of Security Studies (ISS) in South Africa, and the Pardee Center staff.
