Pardee Institute researchers contribute to UNEP’s Sixth Global Environmental Outlook (GEO-6)
In March 2019, the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) released the Sixth Global Environmental Outlook (GEO-6), a collaboration between 250 scientists and experts from 70 countries. The report demonstrates that urgent action is required to mitigate the externalized costs of human development and provides analysis of synergies and trade-offs in achieving global environmental targets.
Lead System Administrator Steve G. Hedden served as Coordinating Lead Author for Chapter 21 and Lead Author for Chapters 22 and 24. Director Jonathan D. Moyer served as Lead Author for Chapter 21 and Contributing Author for Chapter 22. Senior Scientist and Mentor Barry B. Hughes served as Contributing Author for Chapters 21 and 22.
