Pardee Institute showcases its signature tool at the Denver Difference Community Launch
April 19th, 2024
On Friday April 19 the Frederick S. Pardee Institute for International Futures, previously known as the Pardee Center, joined the larger University of Denver (DU) community as the University launched its "Denver Difference Community Celebration." The community event highlighted the University's achievements and its future trajectory, marking the beginning of the public phase of “The Denver Difference Campaign.”
The Pardee Institute participated in the event and displayed its signature International Futures (IFs) platform, an open-source integrated assessment model. This platform empowers users to explore questions about our future global well-being. By leveraging historical data and deep study on system interactions, IFs models future scenarios that reflect alternative policy strategies.
The Denver Difference is about “reimagining the promise of higher education and delivering a new kind of university experience—one that will transform and enrich not just the lives of our students, but communities and societies around the globe,” Chancellor Jeremy Haefner told the crowd.
The Denver Difference represents a commitment to innovation, impact, and positive change, with the Pardee Institute playing a vital role in shaping a better future through research and foresight.
