The Frederick S. Pardee Institute for International Futures is collaborating with USAID Ethiopia to work on the next Country Development Cooperation Strategy (CDCS). This initiative aims to help drive Ethiopia's progress forward. To better understand the future and identify key priorities in Ethiopia, the team explored the Current Path and other various scenarios to accelerate development.

Recently, Taylor Hanna, the Associate Director of Development Analysis, traveled to Addis Ababa in Ethiopia to participate in a series of workshops and present preliminary scenarios. During these sessions, she engaged with experts from offices across USAID Ethiopia and met with leadership to discuss their interests and needs. The main goal of these workshops was to brainstorm and find innovative solutions to Ethiopia's developmental challenges.

This engagement reinforces the core values of the Pardee Institute, which include utilizing data and analysis to inform real-world policies that promote sustainable development. Through the utilization of its International Future tool, the team is working hard to provide valuable insights and support for Ethiopia's journey towards progress.
