Upcoming: Jakkie Cilliers to deliver talk on African security
On April 11, Jakkie Cilliers, founder and executive director of the Institute for Security Studies (ISS), will speak to students at the Josef Korbel School of International Studies on Africa’s security future. In addition to highlighting his organization’s own work in the security space, he plans to discuss the African Union’s ongoing efforts to improve security conditions on the African continent. Cilliers is continuing his two-month working visit at the Pardee Center as part of a Fulbright grant. He’s been helping the Pardee Center team with ongoing improvements to the International Futures user interface and specific issue areas of the modeling system.
